So i went to Gumdo this morning. Only myself and Amanda were there for the first fifteen minutes. Then Gestapo came. I didn't name him. Anyway he is a scary black belt taxi driver dude (3rd, 5th dan? who cares?). Anyway, after he got there he warmed up a bit, then spent 40 minutes DRILLING me. He totally ignored Amanda, and just DRILLED me hardcore. After fifteen minutes I could barely lift my sword anymore, they're fuckin heavy after a while..
Then after making me do fuck loads of of your straight swing, then your left then right swing, then your straight then left then right swing, then your straight, then left, then right, then a waist-high side cut then a diagonal up-right to bottom-left and diagonal up-left to bottom-right he made me do it all again whilst in a front lunge position. Then again in an ALMOST half-kneeling but not quite positon. Then my arms fell off and he laughed and threw a sewing kit at me, and I had to sew them back on using my teeth. It sucked.
I don't know if I'll go tomorrow morning. I read that you shouldn't exercise again if you're muscles are still recovering and blah blah, Anyway my muscles will be recovering for like.. forever. Approximately =)
