The philosophy in the matrix to me, boils down to predestination, and fulfillment of purpose. Inevitability, perception, and destiny are the biggest themes dealt with. Focus on those, and you'll have no end of material to discuss. "What is real? How do you define real?" That'd make a term paper all by itself.
