I was in Canmore on July 7th for the day. I took my camera with me and I had just planned to walk around the Nordic Centre taking some pictures. I then found out that I could go on a 30 minute helicopter tour and I decided what the hell. I am not exaggerating when I say the was among the top five things that I have done in my life so far.

You should do both! You can get some pretty fantastic pictures of the mountains while dogsledding. Did you hit up the gondola in Banff? I suppose it would be kinda difficult to photograph white water rafting, but it could be an adventure
