Ugh, I have such a headache. If you were here would you rub my temples? Would you hold me until the pain stopped, until I fell asleep? Would you look into my eyes and smile? Would you know, in that moment, nothing needed to be said? Would you let me listen to your heart beat? Would you understand why that one sound made me feel so safe? Why aren't you here right now?
