No one has gotten as much shit as this girl right here about tattoos and tattooing
And I am fucking tired of it

I am tired of holding my tongue, I am tired of letting it roll off my shoulders

My work usually can speak for itself, well the work on other people
But it's time for me to speak for my little tattoos... they're defenseless and uglier than the other kids

The tattoos on my own body, are personal, like everyone's
Do you think just because I model nude that I want you to insult ALL of my tattoos in one go?
They ARE [mostly] self-inflicted, and I KNOW it wasn't smart
*Let's remember I started doing this when I was 18...*

When I was 17, I got my machine, because I wanted to tattoo myself!
I practiced with the weight of the machine, putting a pencil in it and drawing, taking it apart and putting it back together several times
I started tattooing myself and other people when I was 18, I know not conventional but whatever

I have been drawing. on. myself. for. my. whole. life....

...now I don't have to haha

The tattoos don't look fantastic.
I know.

But they are MY tattoos, and I love them

I have my whole life to fix them, and I intentionally used the lightest black I could find so in the future I could go over them [or someone else could]

I move around a lot, and I have never been able to network much with artists because I am shy and no one takes me seriously...
Because I'm young and I have these blue tattoos

I work a lot, traveling and tattooing pretty much the whole Marine Corps in Oceanside
I'm in school the other half the time

So god damnit just let me be
