Don't you love it when weekend comes along and yopu have nothing major planned, a free weekend to do all those things you never get time to do catch up with friends you never get time to see or just lounge around in your slippers reading by the fire.
Sunday night I had dinner with Aaronsrod and some of his friends at Mondo in west end. Yummy I love that place. Phils friends were so nice and the food was fantastic, I had a really great night. Thanks for and your fantastic company Phil. Unfortunately I was so swept up in the conversation and food I completely forgot to take any pics.
Saturday I got to spend some time with my Family. I was planning to help out with some of the weekends work but Dad and little Ashika (my brothers little boy) seemed to have it all under control.
On Sunday I finished varnishing an old cabinet that I have been restoring. Still need to make another draw for it but for now the empty draw space holds my CD player nicely.
Did some gardening and then washed my bike in the rain, which was actually really nice because it was quite warm. Due to water restrictions I had to use buckets, the rain was a great help in conserving more water and it was even kind enough to stop just as I was ready to sham-my the bike dry.

I actually went fishing this last weekend and caught the first Barramundi I have caught in years! Didn't quite make size though so I threw it back.
