I HATE THIS COMPUTER!!!!!! I just wrote a nice long entry that it promptly erased. It wasn't important. It was about how I've found three concerts to look forward to while I bide my time until I leave god forsaken New York on August 10th. They are:

1) Courtney Love at Summerstage. (yeah, yeah, shut up.)

2) Curioso festival w/ the Cure and Interpool

Are you in Seattle yet? I just read your post on the Musicians group. I'm on holidays at moment, so I've not checked in with most groups or boards for the last 2 months.

If you are I'm assuming you've picked up the stranger and seen the listings for rehearsal spaces. It has been a couple years since I've tried playing in a band, but I want to say we paid $45/hour at Hush for a large room with a PA.

No, I move back to Seattle August 10th, (not soon enough.) I'm trying to convince my drummer to come with me. $45 is about what we're paying here for a terriably small room w/ a real shitty PA and even shittier drums and amps. Hopefully by December I'll be able to set up my home studio and use it.

Man, I hate working on thye Upper east side. The people here are shitty, shitty, shitty. Its so amusing when the rich, older, women come in and take me to task for my piercings. "Why would you do that to your body?" Meanwhile they're anorexic and have had som much plastic surgery and botex that they hardly look human anymore. I mean I'm talking Joan...

As soon as my assistant gets here I'm calling it a day. I'm going to go home, watch a porn, do my thing, and be asleep by 5pm. It...

So heres the deal. My day job is managing an ice cream store and I just lied to my asst. so I could leave early. I'm not sick. I don't get sick. Truthfully I was up recording and drinking until about 5am and when I played the tape this morning I really have to wonder what I was going for. I guess I was trying...
