I'm in Syracuse now. The trip across was funny. Lateral half-body sunburns; drool puddles; stopping for cows, racoons, a fox, and tons of deer in roads; Aspen snobs; dumpster diving; ranch work; dodging flying animal corpses; chasing horses with 4-wheelers; using Ben's sister as a mudflap; freaked out about balding; decided to drink less soda; Krispy Creme doughnuts; fucking Nebraska; New York City on Labor day weekend; wearing out the car horn; and not paying a single cent for gas or tolls...
Lots of good times.
Middle America is the pits though... So much ignorance and absurd obesity. Made me wonder if "white trash" is just a North American phenomenon.
Still being a pussy about career ops.
Mildly stressing how my Portland house is going to shake out for roommates. Hoping the kidney meds I've been on for a year aren't neccessary so I can get cleared for health insurance. Looking for a good deal on a powerbook. Psyched to reunite with my pup Scout, and see TheDza, and other east coast pals again.
