This week has been busy...
When I look back I can't even remember all of the things I was telling myself to make note of here.
Last weekend was like theme party weekend... Halfway to Halloween was pretty cool for the elite few who actually dressed up. Everyone else were chumps. Too bad it got busted. All the ladies were total babes (Mia, Linz, Elara, Demi) Those who were tardy or absent lose. I made a pretty sweet Tennis playing Tenenbaum. I don't know if proof exists. The next night sported a White trash birthday bash for 2 of my good friends. It was f-ing hillarious... beer bongs, a tazer gun, and 4 of us catching my roommate recieving a mellow handy in the front seat of car when one of us stopped to whiz on the hood of it, before realizing the carnage taking place within. Ha!
Days have involved an absurd amount of hiking, filming, and making a solid effort to avoid cooking in the sun, to some, but not total success.
Really long days, followed by late evenings hanging with people I care about before I'm engaged for most of the summer at camp. I'm really gonna miss them (you know who you are), but will try to get together when possible.
So for multiple reasons I've felt like my heart was going to pop this last week.
Saw Planes Mistaken For Stars the other night and can't stop listening to them or the new Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs album.
MIa and I experienced the most amazing grilled cheese at a strip club while hanging with the Planes dudes. An interesting experience.
Today was the most productive errands day ever, and health insurance is finally back in the mix. Another hundo a montho. Wahoo!
In the works is an amazing job opportunity filming for another new snowboard outerwear company next year... I couldn't be more psyched on the team either cuz most of them are already my buddies and I've been hanging with the big wiggs more lately. It's amazing when things start falling into place... considering the back-up plan is still a wet dream for me. Still filming, travelling, and getting a lot of new, tech, and expensive toys on someone else's budget. I AM HAPPY.
Camp starts on Monday with a weekend ahead sure to send me off with a perma-grin.
