Seriously, ths dude blows my freakin freakin. A friend of mine and i started researching him a few months back and it's opened my mind up to so many possibilities.
This guy invented the 21st century, He created a coil that would create a huge energy field which resulted in the lightbulb feild in the film, The Prestige. I only watched it for the first time yesterday and then had to sit for a full half hour to comprehend what i had just seen. I know it was just a film...but what if he actually was able to create that machine? What if he really really was able to create something as amazing as that?
Doesn't that just make your mind go boom?

That guy is up there with Edison, but he never seems to get any credit. Most people when they hear the name Tesla, they firstly think of that rock band. Which is kind of rediculous. I honestly don't remember reading much about him in history books back in school. He had some pretty radical theories, which might be partly why people don't take him seriously enough. Which is a shame, really.
