had an awesome idea for a blog post but do you think I could remember it? Nope. Oh wait, I think I have.
Over the course of this weekend, several passions of mine from the past raised their beautiful and sorely missed heads. I watched Twin Peaks, rekindled my adoration of Elijah Wood and the whole Lord of the Rings saga and was overcome with excitement and seeing Oasis on the Brits.
It got me thinking of those times when in the throes of my obsessions I didn't believe it could ever die down. And to be honest, it never really does. It just lies dormant for those years when life forces us to grow up a little more until something spontaneously shoves it back onto your path. It's all with it to feel that little flame of happiness and remembrance of how happy you were.
For myself, I have always turned to these obsessions in the times when I have needed them the most. Friendships, family, relationships, jobs, depression. Whether good or bad, those things are in our everyday lives and looking back, sometimes I'm amazed I'm still here at all. I think it's because in my darkest moments I always had the escapism of a cd, book, TV show or film to get me to my next point and through this, I was able to grow into the strong and powerful woman I am now.
It's also assisted me in becoming a class a nerd, which I am extremely proud. I think we should get badges or something to show off our nerd division. That would be great. smile

2. Elaborate on your default photo: I was taking photos of myself and thought this was one of the best photos of myself, ever.
3. What does your blurb mean? I'm a little bit goth, a little bit hippy and a little bit punk. I don't like to cyber and I resent the fact people think that's the only reason I'm on this site and I don't just friend people. I like to get to know people before I add them. That's the reason I left myspace.
4. What is your current relationship status? Single. Still recovering from an extremely bad relationship, not ready for another one. Finding out who I am again and getting the new and improved Bonizza back.
having said that, the physical side would be nice but I cant have sex unless there's some kind of attraction or feeling there. But just mindless bonking with someone I have nothing with...really not my cup of tea.
