i've recently come to realize that i think i am a music snob. i get accused of this all the time at work and i try and tell them that i just have a very perticular taste in music. just because i don't really listent to anything on the radio doesn't mean that i am a snob. when i hear that someone listens to something that i don't like i don't hold it against them. but i guess when i find someone that listens to similer music and i can have a conversations with them about it i may like them more. i thnk i'm less of a snob than some of my friends. i still try to listen to popular music so that i can understand why people would like it (i find bad/popular music facinating). most of my friends have completely abandoned popular music but i still give it a chance once and a while. what started me thinking about this was sunday night when i was at a show in Boston. i realized that the last three shows i had been to weren't at club's or theatres or larger venues, but at museums or artist collectives performance space. weird.....i never would have thought i would have been going to shows at museums. last three shows are as follows.
13 and God @ Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
Yo La Tengo @ Mass MOCA
Dalek @ the Flywheel
and if that makes me a snob then so be it. i know what i like and i like what i know. but the next show i'm going to is at a club again. Sage Francis at the Roxie in Boston, should be an awesome show.
ps. i'm thinking of changing my member pic. my roommate says that i look kind of scummy in that pic. just because i had been at burning man for about 5 days when that had been taken and had just been through a dust storm.

I should have put a disclaimer in my journal to read "men do not have to enter sexual things in AFI's journal." I was speaking strictly to other women. I mean unless you are into that sort of thing...then that's fine with me! The more the merrier I always say
And I'll be waiting at the door for the Uno's delivery tonight. With a big tip
edited to add:
