Life in the slow lane. The day is just dragging. Having a car I can rely on has changed my perspective on time already. Yahoo... I can now go places and do things again.

The music party was pretty boring. Ended up going solo. Need to fix that for the next one. All the chicks were hooked up. It's just not all that fun getting stuck talking about music with someone's older brother or ex husband. Just affirms why I'd rather be hanging out with a younger crowd.

Wonder if I'll actually get that interview I'm supposed to have this week? I'm not real impressed with the recruiter and the rate is only ok. Not even fully qualified, but their trying to place me there anyway. Just not getting a good feeling out of this one. Maybe the next phone call will be something I can believe in. That and I haven't heard one way or another about the Ford contract. That recruiter impressed me and the rate is much better. Contract term suckx, but that sounded like the inital stab at something long term. I just hope it rolls over into the longer contract early so I can collect benefits sooner than later.

OK.. I'm babbling... Time to shower and head to the bar to watch some locals get stupid...
