Monday is a bitch. After being off its so hard to get started again. Up at 6am to start getting ready for work. I worked nights for almost 10 years straight. Switching to days was really fun, but for the most part I finally have made the transition.

I was sick since right before New Years Eave. I thought I was almost over it and I got sick again right before last weekend. Now I feel pretty good, a little stuffy, a little cough, but pretty good. I am so getting a flu shot next year. The older I get the less able I am to be able to call in sick.

Thanks to everyone whos posted on my journal. It makes me feel a little less like Im talking to myself when there is a comment or two. Not that I expect much. I read some of the journals and what are you supposed to say? There isnt much of an opportunity to have any kind of a real conversation or to make a connection, so I just lurk around and try to limit the empty prattling that I may feel like typing.

For those of you who have had tragedy close too you my heart and positive thought go out to you and yours. I dont know why but this year seems to be starting out hard for some and thats a shame.
