So Easter week end I was supposed to work sat 8 to 4 but I wasn't put on, so my only day of work since I'm going school full time I didn't get to work so no pay for this week. So I'm pretty stressed out about money since peter just started his new job so we wont see the money coming in for a while, and I don't go back to work full time in till May 25.
And almost all of my saving witch was A LOT of money is all gone.
But other then being poor and the kitten's detouring my life lol.
Easter was fun I went to my parents for Friday night sat and Sunday, and me and my sister had a really good time we played card games and watched movies and colored lol and died Easter eggs and my hair and did a lot of baking it was nice hang out and not fighting.
Any ways to day at grooming school I did for the first time a complete grooming by my self no one came over to tell me what to do or how to do it no touch ups nothing I did the hole thing and my teachers said she looked perfect. And if that wasn't enough to make me very happy, right be for the left school the owner of the grooming school, asked me if I would like to start coming to school on Saturdays so I can finish sooner and when I am done if I would like to work there as a assistant grooming constructer, (aka grooming teacher) she said I'm above average (that's a first) and I'm a very fast learner (another first) and I'm a natural groomer and I would be there first choice. And I would be making the most money I have ever made hourly. But I did have a promise job at pet smart as a groomer when I was done with school.
Working at Pet smart:
I would have to work crazy hrs nights and week ends holidays
And deal with shitty managers and shitty bathers, and I would have to groom 8 or more dogs a day. And deal with customers I wouldn't have much cleaning to do, and I would get to stay with my pet smart friend Casey, Andra, Mackenzie, Colleen and Leah, but I would work of mostly commission, and I would have to spend a lot of money on grooming supplies and maintaining them. Oh and 2 week paid vacation, I live 5 mins from petsmart.
Working at grooming school:
Great hourly pay
Great hrs 8 to 5 for 4 week days and 8 to 5 on Saturdays I wouldn't have to work nights or Sundays or holidays.
I would have to clean at first as an assistant, but later on when I would move up I would not.
No over time.
I would have to interact with customers more, but I wouldn't have to groom dogs I would over look and teach tips and what not.
I would have to work with Carlie (I hate her)
I wouldn't us my groom supplies so that would save money
1 week paid vacation, better health care, and profit sharing
I live about 40 min from grooming school. But it would look good for my next job to say I was a grooming teacher.
