It can be a great experience, learning to be completely self sufficient, doing whatever you like, whenever you want - no negotiations or compromises.  At first it can be lonely & a pet helps, get a cat if you want company or a dog if you want to be more sociable (dog parks are great places to meet people). Most of all, lean to appreciate yourself & don’t jump into another relationship just because you’re lonely!
