Now, I speak from experience on the following issue. I've been following Rockstar like someone who watches TV every week. I made the foray into seeing if there was anything good on TV and I've stopped watching TV except to see Rockstar. I'm excited to see the performances. They're pretty cool.

But now that the series is over, it's so plain to see that they (being Tommy, Jason and Gilby) chose the person they wanted long before the show started. It seems pretty obvious they've been arbitrarily booting people that happened to land in the bottom three according to what would be more dramatic. I mean, in the end, it doesn't really matter who goes. They're all going. They know who they want and have been orchestrating toward that end. The problem is that they're trying to hide that fact.

They've been dramatizing the whole season. They know who's performing what and how and arrange the episodes such that the show's more dramatic and they get the outcome they desire. And each episode has exactly the same storyboard. You put the poorer guys up first, followed by a couple good acts, say the second and third best, then a couple that aren't so good and big finish with the best performer of the week. It's not like they didn't know what they were going to perform. They even choose the songs and how they're going to sing it.

It's not even that I have any problem about that. I think it would be more dramatic and exciting than if it were actual reality. I'm worried how people will act when they think that "reality TV" is actually real and start emulating. TV didn't have enough impact, they need to show people exactly how to act...

Oh. And it's very likely that once these holes heal and my cartilage stops burning when I smack it with my phone at work, I'm going to get at least three more. YAY!
