If a blog exists and nobody cares to read it, does it really matter what's said?
I guess not. Which is why, I think, I'm here to begin with. Wait. No. That's not right at all. I'll start over.
This is pretty much the furthest thing from anywhere I would seek new people. Selling material testing equipment pays awesome. But the people there selling with me are quite lame. It pays for them to follow presuppositions and safe courses of action. I'm the oddity, but I'll have sold $140K in my first month of work. So they like me. But I wouldn't associate with them outside of work.
This means I have to meet people where? At clubs? Well, I'm sure there are decent people there, but so far I've run into duds to which my previous posts can attest. So desperate times, and all that.
I think I have to take more risks.

And as far as the blog thing is concerned...well....I guess you could kind of look at it like the tree in the forest thing.....but writing can also just help the writer alone get things out, even if no one reads them.
But most of the time, in this type of setting people write blogs to be noticed, so if you write something no one reads, then yes, it is pointless to write it!
But good thinking and I just read your thread in question everything, and I don't have response to it other than, perhaps you might have to believe it just exists without know why. Not, a very good answer, but sometimes just knowing it exists without an answer is the only answer!
Thanks for the comments. I like the tree in the forest thing. I imagine mine's so gnarled that it can't see out of its glen.
But what if it's intended to be noticed only by a certain type of person? I agree that it's written so that other people can see. But there's a reason behind everything.
