Why the hell did no one tell me!?

Foolishly so. In the episode "The Tick vs. The Tick" in first season, I laughed pretty hard. They walk up to this doorman who insists that Arthur not be admitted to the superhero club because he's just a sidekick. Tick thinks about it for a moment and says "I see, spelling America with a K, are you?" And then shrugs and goes in, leaving Arthur outside.

I lost it. Fucking brilliant.

Anytime I really go wandering, I find great places.

I just need to get out more. This weekend has been all about home renovations. It should be all done by Tuesday or so, then back to wandering and what not.

Meh, a minor obsession is ok.

So long as you know where to draw the line. Sometimes it is also harder to try and explain a seeming obsession to someone else, as they weren't there for the experience that you had with the person.

It's funny. It's more of a challenge than an obsession, really. I mean, how am I going to obsess over something I have no way of controlling? I've searched here and there when I've found opportunity (like when I was working for Rogers and had access to their phone bank) but I've otherwise kept myself unconcerned.

And it's not like I'm going to ignore those I otherwise meet. Besides. She may very well be married by now. I find it unlikely, but anything's possible.

I don't see any problem with moving to a new location and trying something very new, but I don't agree that running from problems is good. It's like an infection. It's likely only to make the wound fester.

Oh. And I should say "in my opinion." I opened up a huge can of worms on the Question Everything board because I didn't say "in my opinion."

Then it's an appropriate pic. Both for the site and for me. I'm too busy at work to put stuff up, so it's likely I'm at home. And if I'm at home it's likely that I'm baked.

i too thought that if you linked to a comment that the person you linked to somehow would recieve it, but no, it only shows up under your blog

I had first started making journal entries as an "experiment" of sorts...i was curious about who would comment and so on, so i started dropping comments in other peoples journals as well...and now look at me...hooked!!

Meeting people at clubs is lame! Most of the time they are too drunk to remember your name anyways!

And as far as the blog thing is concerned...well....I guess you could kind of look at it like the tree in the forest thing.....but writing can also just help the writer alone get things out, even if no one reads them.

But most of the time, in this type of setting people write blogs to be noticed, so if you write something no one reads, then yes, it is pointless to write it!

But good thinking and I just read your thread in question everything, and I don't have response to it other than, perhaps you might have to believe it just exists without know why. Not, a very good answer, but sometimes just knowing it exists without an answer is the only answer!

Thanks for the comments. I like the tree in the forest thing. I imagine mine's so gnarled that it can't see out of its glen.

But what if it's intended to be noticed only by a certain type of person? I agree that it's written so that other people can see. But there's a reason behind everything.
