Today was a fine day to be a nerd.
Many fantastically nerdy happenings went on but I must say that the highlight was. without a doubt, the internet dictionary discussion.
A friend of mine and I were talking and a word I didn't know came up. I asked him to define said word. He typed www.webster.com into his destination bar. I gave him a SKOFF and said "Webster.com? You use Webster.com? HA! I thought EVERYONE used dictionary.com"
The battle began. We jumped between the sites admiring their individual quirks.
After some discussion my friends mom called to us from the kitchen.
"What are you two talking about?"
"We're discussing internet dictionaries and their various merits!"
"...No, what are you REALLY talking about?"
Sadly... we WERE talking about internet dictionaries and their various merits.
