I know I promised a fun and exciting journal this time around. But I'm unfortunately not really that fun or exciting at the moment. All I've been doing for the past month is running around the house in my pj's, emailing out resumes and spending time with Ben.
It's really great getting to spend so much extra time with the little one. He cracks me up on a daily basis, he's so funny. I love just watching him play with things and try to figure things out. He's growing up way too fast though. I can't believe he'll be 1 year old in less than a month. That's crazy!
I have a potential job possibility that would be really great if I get it. I would be basically doing the same thing that I was at my old job (Customer Service stuff), but for far better pay and better benefits. I sent in my resume last week. They called yesterday and told me that I have to take a pre-employment test before they interview. I'm scheduled for that next Wed. I'm pretty nervous about it. There's about 5 different parts where they give you 10mins to learn their procedure as to how to do something (enter in client info, transfer service, etc). Then you get a fake call and have to do the procedure so they record the number of keystrokes and speed, accuracy and how you speak to the "customer" in the meantime. I have a feeling it's going to be the most nerve-wracking 4 hours EVER. haha
