There I was, in my finest punk baby get-up, the only white girl in a sea of hard-core hip-hop and rap.
And as I danced with my boys, our bodies having learned over the years how to move in perfect harmony, I realized something.
And with the realization, thoughts came flooding, some too quick to register in the conscious mind, but significant enough to feel......

Yeah, that is crazy. The Cops don't look for drunks at 4AM there? They do in Orlando, that's when most of my friends get DWIs. But yeah, you got dead lucky.

Before I go, I'm going to have to get your contact info, so that I can make an offer on the family homestead. . .seriously! When I say the man is my hero, I mean it. I have no others, nor do I casually idolize other humans. He was one of humanity's greats, on a par with any who have lived. Has the family retained any of his papers? The gov't confiscated tons (literally) of his paper from the Waldorf after he died, for national security purposes, but personal papers must have escaped their grasp, no?
kingskottie:
hey howdy hey.

i hope you had a good partying weekend... i was chilled out watching tv and trying to pretend i know how to read.(i don't ...i've been faking it for years!)

heh... i'm cool to you dishing on red bull... i think it's a weird thing. i'm glad i'm not the only one.

did you dig that *film* site? i've been able to pick up or rent flicks that i had only read about or heard about during my film school daze.

what kinda music do you dig? tuesday... the new interpol is out as well as the brian wilson version of his lost master work from 1967 called SMILE. (it's basically a blueprint for the 2001 flaming lips.)

cos of work and demands... my sg time is limited alot. (damn work bastards and their idea of NON acceptable web sites..) i do come here several times a week and love yr journal entries... looking forward to reading them.

ARRR!!!

hey you kids! get a room already! sheesh!

when i was in college, we always kept midol around for hangovers. it was a diuretic, yes, but the secret combination of tylenol and caffiene worked well if you kept hydrated. one of the extra-strength excedrins was also good. it had aspirin and caffiene.

when i have the occasional migraine--perhaps once a year--real aspirin is the only thing that helps. not tylenol or ibp, nor even that new-fangled naproxen.

not much going on here. kind of in a dead space with the minnesota fall coming on, a time when i usually get melancholly. this year is no exception. here on SG, i've spent some time talking naughty with the cute youngsters in the SG Twin Cities group.

flirting's a temporary fix, but what's a boy to do.... kiss
escottie:
i like talking with you. and the occasional peek at that tremendous full-body-from-the-back picture. blush

wireless at home or are you sitting in a coffeeshop tonight? i have fine DSL that almost never goes down. it's also free 'cause the phone company has forgotten to bill me for 28 out of the last 30 months or so. they're also nice enough to give me a $2 credit each month due to a rate reduction last year.

never had a lot of migraines myself. my mom and maternal grandfather used to have them frequently. like yours, the sit in the quiet darkness for a couple days at a time type. i feel your pain.

i'd still like to hear more about your injuries. i have kind of a human physiology background and insatiable curiosity (kind of blows doctors away when i can talk almost at their level).

i think early june and the last couple weeks in august are the best times to visit MN. it's pretty now in the woods and on the prairies, but a little cooler, like 60s and 70s. and as with your domain, the sun goes down too early.

i don't have any serious complaints about living here, even when one considers the winters. the summers are a little too short for my taste, but i make it up with frequent winter trips to arizona, where i have family. i also have occasional business in las vegas.

it would all be fine if i had a partner to share it with. but then i'd probably travel more anyway.

nothing personal, bo, but i have to hit the hay. *inserts imaginary yawn smiley*

later....

*after coffee*

i would die for a coffee. jeez...actually i feel like i would die if i drank a coffee! ugh. (hmmm... starbucks. hmmmm. caffiene)

i understood the rubber band comment at first... i can tell that you are easily amused ...but then i once went one month straight of listening to nothing but van halen!

actually i'm glad to be back on the job...i had a great busy day yesterday and the throat barely bugged me.... but you know...work sucks... unless yr a strip club DJ (my ultimate job!...hee hee! my wife would have a different take on this i'm sure.)

back to my directors book... warren beatty was a ho. (is?) i was reading last night all about how revolutionary BONNIE AND CLYDE was. that film was the first major studio picture to actually make the *bad* guys... bonnie et al... look like the *good* guys. (the police being BAD)...at a time in the US (1967) that the authority was in question... it was landmark.

this film moment was brought to you by rubber bands.
