10 Observations at the Beach


1- If you drink beer on a beach where there's a sign, "No Alcoholic Beverages," people who are on the beach not drinking beer because they are obeying the sign will be mad at you.

2- Someone could actually be heard asking, "Why is the water so salty?"

3- Dogs are not allowed on some beaches, but leaving dirty diapers in the sand apparently is.

4- There are many shapes and sizes of people and many shapes and sizes of bathing suits.

5- If you put sunblock on your tattoos and nowhere else, you will get burned everywhere except your tattoos, and your tattoos will seem like flesh-bordered cameos.

6- Puppies that may or may not resemble lab mice do not count as "dogs" on the beach.

7- Without sunglasses, people could see that others are staring at them with great precision, particularly at crotches.

8- Seabird sanctuaries don't necessarily have places to take sick and injured seabirds.

9- Tobacco products have no ill effects if used at the beach.

10- Mermaids won't make an appearance for days.
