Its been over a year since my ex left. Yet whenever I date I can't seem to establish any kind of actual connection. I know I still have feelings for her and in my eyes she was a perfect fit for me. I almost feel like I expect my next relationship to be similar to that feeling. When I don't find that in someone I lose all interest or I break it off in fear of wasting someones time. Im literally holding myself back and I can't seem to stop. Gotta love the way life turns out sometimes.

I find that surprising. Maybe once you get home and settled. I'd imagine knowing you move for work makes it a bit tricky too..
