Final Act

Scrooge rises from his bed--he goes to the window, throws it open. Below, in the street, a YOUNG BOY is passing by...

Scrooge--Excuse me...young man, can you tell me what day it is?

Young Boy--Wha'...today, sir? Why, Christmas Day, sir?

(Scrooge begins to hop estatically around his bedroom)

Scrooge--Christmas Day...I haven't missed it! The spirits did it all in one night. Well, they can do anything they like, can't they? And I vow, as my name is Ebeneezer Scrooge, that I will keep Christmas in my heart and cherish it, 365 days of the year.

(At this Ashton Kutcher bursts into the room)

Ashton-Dude, you have been so punked!!!

Scrooge (bewildered)--What?

Ashton--Come in, everybody

Cameron Diaz enters the room dressed as the spirit of Christmas Past, Jack Black as the spirit of Christmas Present, Marilyn Manson as the Ghost of Christmas Future, and finally Billy Bob Thorton dressed as Jacob Marley.

Billy Bob--Ha Ha, gotcha' buddy!!!

Everyone starts laughing. Scrooge looks around and starts to scowl.

Scrooge--It's humbug, I say. HUMBUG!

He jumps up and down in his nightgown, as we fade to black...
