Man, I just watched the remake of Dawn of the Dead. I didn't really care for it when I first saw it in the theatre. This time I watched the unrated version--man, what a difference! I mean the film still lacks Romero's subtext on a consumer society, but it was definitely a scarier picture this time around. There's nothing scarier than evil children--the little girl at the beginning and the baby zombie. A lot more gore definitely perked this picture up!
Now I'm watching Real Sex Extra-Going Down in the Valley. Interesting look at the porn industry.
