I get many messages asking where the heck I have been all these years, and why I don't post a new set. I figured I'd come on here and explain a little bit as to why I probably won't be posting any more sets in the future.
At the time when I joined this company, it was the very early days, when you would set up an appointment with the photographer, and your set would guaranteed be posted eventually and you would be paid $300 for it.
Soon after, they decided to give us all a raise and pay us $500 per set which was awesome, but then came the member review. Your set had to make it in member review with enough positive feedback, it would be a featured set of the day, and once it was, The model would be paid.
Please keep in mind while reading this, I have absolutely no idea how it is ran nowadays.
As you guys have seen, my last set posted was the down by the river set. It was a beautiful set. Probably one of my best! It had extremely good feedback, yet never made it as a photo set of the day. It takes a lot of guts for me to be able to remove my clothes and do this, so I felt very cheated that any old person could see my set, but the artist was not being paid. It did not seem fair.
Another time a couple years before this, my friend who recently became accepted as a model was with me, and we set up an appointment with a staff photographer to do our sets in my tattoo shop.
I can't for the life of me remember the name of this photographer, but basically he took really awesome sets of us, and had us model some designer bathing suits that feature one boob hanging out. You may have seen these out and about. He had the actual designer ones with him, so we modeled them for him as a side thing for him to kind of think him for taking our sets that day.
This staff photographer completely disappeared and never responded to any of our emails, and the sets were never sent in to the company for member review or anything! He completely just stopped by and took all these naked photos of us, never to be seen again.
So like I said, somethings don't seem very fair, but then again I don't know how it is run nowadays. If things are a lot smoother now a days and somebody can talk to me based off of current experience, I may be down to join on again and be more active! I just had a sour taste left in my mouth more than once, so I figured I would explain my reasoning
