ok, a book recommendation for you. don't think i'm lame, please, but have you read Snow Crash by Stephenson? it's pretty freakin' good. even rockstars like you might be into it. ok, if not that, then how about Dharma Punx by Levine. it's very good. buddhism is perhaps a religion that might not make you sad because it's not all about persecuting non-believers. ok, failing both of those, i bet you would dig The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.

So, I see Burton is doing a movie, Depp is acting and taking inspiration from Manson for the part...

Sounds like one kick ass fucking movie..
