i feel like i should start blogging more. Or blogging at all. Not because i think people realy want to know what i'm doing, but because its good for me to write. I think it helps me get a better sense of where i'm at in life.
Just got 5 years sober back in December. I'm pretty stoked about it. For ages i could barely get 24 hours but something is different this time. All the different avenues of recovery helped immensly and i've actually been able to save some pretty fucked up relationships with my friends and family that i ruined while i was using. Its really nice to be able do normal things like a normal person again. I've been able to travel all over the world in the past five years, which i never thought i could. I was always too worried about how i would find heroin where i was headed. I swear, that shit makes you such a prisoner.
Enough about all that...Lately i've been staying with my folks in their rad house by the SF bay. I had to move out of my last place because my roomate who i got sober with started smoking crack again, which makes for a difficult living situation, haha. But a family friend is re-modeling this dope studio in a little town called Larkspur that i'm moving into, and im just waiting for it to be finished. Its almost done.

Congrats sugar, I am wicked proud of you, last September I celebrated 11 years drug free, not alcohol free or the every day drug like caffiene but illegal drug free!!!
