i suppose i shouldn't be that surprised when the best week of surf and weather we've had in months is also turning out to be my stretch since january's big porn show. its just been like that lately.
one of the more foreboding indicators showed up this morning as i busted out the notecards in prep for tuesday's financial accounting test. i've got return on common equity on the brain and there's a duel between investment and credit criterial staged at high noon.
homework assignments and group project obligations are all due on thursday, but not before i jet to sacramento on wednesday to lobby the state assembly. i challenge you to find a more loathsome group of elected legislators than the people that serve the state of california. i just got word today that some parenting group is trucking in girl scouts by the hundreds in opposition to the issues that i'll be lobbying. i suppose if things take a turn for the horrible, i can always hold some of the scouts hostage and demand girl scout cookies and milk while i negotiate the terms for their release.
registration for classes for my next trimester starts today. i wish there was a happier medium, because one class per trimester is a bit too easy while this current rendition of taking 2 classes while holding down the full time gig has been a 14 week kick in the balls.
its a damn shame that hiding in bed under the covers does nothing to resolve these issues.
