got word this morning from a co-worker that my likeness was on the tv last nite. e!'s broadcast of the howard stern show last nite was footage that they shot at the avn awards. yours truly was there in the background getting my hustle on. unfortunately i don't think the part where i almost got into a fight with some punk motherfuckers that were with the vivid chicks or had my job threatened by the bitch that hosted the awards show made it on the telly.
its funny because i talked to two other people today that saw the program and were like, "that was YOU??!?" most recently i had a meeting with a vendor for public relations services that saw the show. and before that was at my fav surf shop where the dude helping me with my footpad was talking about how he's going to get sirius satellite radio b/c he's a big howard fan.
my bonus came through this morning so i wasted no time in getting my ass to the surf shop during my lunch hour and buying myself a beautiful new 6'8" roberts shortboard. with the 8' mini gun i'm babysitting and the 7'10" mini longboard i own i guess you could say i've got a bona fide quiver. and of course for any of you who want to visit, it means i've got an extra stick for you to ride. yes, that means you.
so it goes without being said that i'm going surfing tomorrow before work. now i've just got some time here at work and four hours in class tonite before i can wax my board, dream about surfing, wake up at dawn and charge the breaks!

Right on! I wish i could surf. but i have no balence. I'll come watch though. Maybe next time i'm in LA we can get to the beach. I saw a cool surfing documentary a little while ago...it was from the 60's i think. Bout these guys that follow the prime surfing locations around the world. The best part was when they were in africa i think and all these native people who had never seen it before got all into it and they were showing them how to surf and shit...cool, especially because neither one of them could speak to each other, it was awsome to see the excitment from both sides!

Actually, the gasoline tax has been diverted from transportation concerns for the past three years. All in all, funds have been re-routed to the tune of about $5.5 billion. Huzzah!
