well rested and no longer jet lagged, i'm feeling back to my regular self. of course, ample use of the vaporizer has lended itself considerably for my regeneration. school is starting to be less confounding than it was intially, all in time for my first exam next week. the days ahead will be packed with more vaporizing, plenty of studying, and surfing. hopefully there'll be time to hang with someone new. too early to make any forecasts but it seems that she's even nicer and more considerate than at first glance.
a swell that brought 20-25 ft waves to oahu's north shore--so powerful that most of the breaks from pipe to outer logs was closed out--has landed in so cal and is expected to peak sometime tomorrow. peak conditions should translate to 10 ft waves, far too big for my limited abilities but conditions should be more manageable in time for the weekend. malibu, here i come.
