what's with all these chicks named tegan/teagan/teegan?
maybe i'm sheltered in my corner of the san pornando valley but it wasn't until the last year that i even knew that tegan was a name that people gave their offspring. what is the origin of the name? did someone fuck up along the way and mis-pronounce the name of the ancient armenian king dikran?
and i'm not pointing my finger on the playground going neener-neener because i think my name is pretty strange too. but at least i'd heard of my name before. i mean, obviously not before i was born and had acquired some skills of auditory recognition but when you hear my name the association is automatically made with other people you know that have the same name. or maybe even a connection is made with the scottish root of the name. eh.. maybe i just short on indie street cred and i'm not up on what names are hip to kids today.
okay, so there's the sg tegan. that's one. and there's that band tegan and sara. and the universal wisdom that is google has revealed an actress/bodybuilder. and i was talking with a work-friend at digital playground who told me about their newest contract star.
is the world being taken over by t-gans and am i the last to find out about it? when are we going to elect our first t-gan president? will she ask t-shirt to run as her vp?
a strange subject for a journal entry.. i know. but i've been a little nuttier than usual because my balky shoulder has forced me to take some time off surfing. thankfully the pain has been downgraded from 'debilitating' to 'occaisionally blinding' so i'm gonna attempt to paddle out on wednesday. anybody want to go to county line?

Teagan is beter than Apple. I'd rather a name that nobody has heard of than a fruit anyday. My opinion.
