shady got in a car accident on friday nite and cancelled on paintballing for saturday because his back felt fucked up. what's the dilly with poor automotive karma? i'd been gearing up all week to bring some pain to the paintball pitch and was actually cleaning my gun when shady called up with the bad news. rather than sit around and be pissed, i exited the crib and got pissed at the pub. its hard to maintain a scowl when you can simply signal and a fresh pint of boddington's is smacked down on the space of bar that spans between your two hands. you can see the cosmos and the origins of the universe in the swirl of bubbles of a freshly poured pint. when the cream rises to the top, there's tranquility like the dark corner of a cave in mongolia during a moonless night.
i woke up on saturday feeling refreshed, energetic even. i hit the ground running and did some errands, scored some christmas presents and battle royale on dvd for me. still feeling pretty vibrant, i hit the gym and lifted about 6000 lbs of iron in about 90 minutes. tae and his buddy purple rode in on a big green rhino and we got vaporized before hitting up some korean bbq for a 2 hour gut buster. there was a party going on at a loft downtown so we headed south and then east until we could hear music pounding out of a 3 level loft. still riding that rhino, we found a bunch of couches and digested while a guy named ben packed mad bowls of blueberry and wreck. we smoked so much dope that i didn't think i could stand on my own two feet so i did the next best thing, head to the dancefloor. i shook it till it couldn't be shook no mo. and it was good.
lisa and a bunch of the moontribe hippies were there so we ascended to the 3rd floor and hit lisa's bong and reconnoitred till 4. tae got hungry so we departed for all kinds of gooey melted mozzarella at bossa nova among the late nite hipster set.
sunday's activities pushed this weekend in the the upper pantheon of ultra grooviness. i slept late AND took a nap. the redskins and the lakers won. got laid. cleaned the crib and did one-two-three-four loads of laundry. got massaged by a thai girl who paid particular attention to my sweet ass and sang weepy thai songs. didn't make it to the farmer's market but enjoyed a honeydew melon that mama shady gave me as well as mom's leftover stuffing.
time to go. my phone's been ringing all morning and i probably have a few dozen messages on my voice mail here at the office. yay monday. whoa bundy.
