HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOUIS ARMSTRONG!
if i ever become lucky enough to be accepted through heaven's pearly gates, i expect louis armstrong's trumpet to be the first sound i hear. before satchmo came along, music lacked the freedom and expression that we take for granted today. with his powerful horn and distinctive voice, pops taught the world to swing. the man was pure love as he loved his audiences as much as they loved him.

i finally made it back home to hollywood after spending the last week in las vegas. big ups to takeshi21 for throwing a kick ass bbq last nite and inviting me over. there should be some sort of law that states that when you go on a week-long bid'nes trip, you should be able to go to a bbq after your flight lands at the airport.
my belly is indicating to me that its time to grab lunch. i'm thinking of getting some raita, lentils, basmati rice, saag panir and hot naan. hooray for indian food!
