the hot and humid weather in los angeles has persisted. for po' folks like me that don't have A/C, different ways to keep cool are always being brought out of the bag and tried out. things were pretty oppressive last night so i ended up sleeping naked, not a bad thing except for the fact that i got a big ol bug bite on my right ass cheek. i've gotten more than my fair share of odd looks from co-workers who have walked by my office, peered in, and seen me leaning over on my left butt cheek, furtively scratching my right one, with a look of detached euphoria on my face.

It's been cooking at the beach too, Venice has been above 80 all week... there's something inherently wrong with that.
We'll see how it falls out in a week.
So tonight I will just have to make sure that I drown my sorrows AND celebrate. Should be good times.... burgundy room if you're interested.
