looks like i've got a groovy weekend ahead of me. a bit of the ultraviolence has been scheduled for saturday and my boy ryan will be down from SF so we'll probably catch miguel migs at the fonda theater that night. the cupboard is bare so a trip to the farmers market on sunday is mos def in order. i've got a craving for white nectarines. i've also got to get together some stuff to take to the hollywood bowl on sunday nite. i got tickets to see morcheeba! i'm thinking hot buttered corn on the cob, my special chicken fried portobello mushrooms, a tomato and avocado salad, and perhaps a fresh baguette with warm brie and cherry perserves. i've got an argentinian merlot that should go with all that quite nicely. for a sample (of morcheeba, not my picnic basket) click here.
