The end is nigh!
not really, but as some of you know, I am currently starting up a startup company that is developing a recipe community website, This website will reside at www.forkables.com and will be completely free to use. The plan is to make a recipe website that is different from any other recipe website out there right now by being incredibly easy to use, and by presenting you with the food you like, based on the food you have liked, and what people who have similar tastes to you like. sorta like pandora for food!
anyhow, today i actually banged out a stage one site launch design document, I'm currently eyeing up a couple of prebuilt website frameworks, but the biggest issue is that there is just me and my buddy, my buddy has ideas and a bit more of a business head then me, but we have no programmer, I'm the idea guy and i have no idea were to get one yet!!...
anyhow, if you know anyone who knows django, python, MySQL, PHP or ajax programming and are interested in joining in a new business startup that is going to try and bust into a very fruitful market, then send em my way. We hope to get at least a basic site up soon so we can start to grow and see if we can develop this idea out more with actual user interactions and introduce our more advanced features, I can't go to investors without having ANYTHING to show them so yah.. Even better if they live in the Edmonton alberta area, or nearby so that we can meet face to face, but i am open to people in the continental area of north america. This is NOT a full time commitment, but would require a pretty substantial commitment of time, as does any startup company.
