Hello SG land!
I've been a super buys guy. Working and more working and then working! Some of that is playing as I sure do enjoy working on cars. I don't have much time to write these blogs all the time So I apologize. Someone did say I should write one though so here I am! I have been restoring a 62 Fairlane 500. We just finished painting it and are putting it back together and getting the interior done.
I try to take lots of pic and usually snapchat or KiK them. So if you'd like to follow along: Bman101420
Basically how the car started out. We had to cut out and weld in new metal in a couple places.
Took car all apart and painted it. Block sanded the whole car once put back together and painted it as a whole.
Took it apart again and painted all the inside and jams.
Painted the dash.
Then we taped all of that off and painted the car it's final coat and then about 4 coats of clear.
And now this is how she sits. We have to put it back together and send out for upholstery.
Gotta love the "from behind"!
