I met 2 other Bengal kitties tonight at Wes and Laura's house. Theirs are so sweet all coppery and full of plant mischief. Laura was making a cool looking cloth cat bed with a mouth for an opening.

Seeing her sewing machine out reminded me I should really try to learn how to sew this winter. I have just a pretty basic understanding but when I was younger I could sew well for my age and my mom was amazing.

After dropping by there, Miguel and I took Kiley school clothes shopping which I normally do at local thriftstores because of the lack of interesting kids clothes available in most all retail stores. I hate those places and I went to one today. We have so much to do with packing and moving that I allowed myself to do that. For the second time today I was reminded how much I would benefit from picking up some sewing skills. My new house has a perfect place for a little work station. We get the key on Tuesday, I can't wait. This will be the last house I rent. I want to buy next.
