And so, like skipping to the end of a good book before reading the story I present to you The Temple of Dreams.
Every year it moves me, that place on this planet. The Temple this year was beautiful. It consisted of a group of small, intricate and beautiful wooden buildings with a Japanese design. It felt personal and touchable in a familiar yet reverent way. For the first year ever, I left behind a rememberance in memorial to a person in my life who was everything. Miguel and I spent a while out there at the Temple, reading the words others had left behind, saying goodbye, welcoming the new, thanking and acknowledging. Very nice.
And then at the end of the week, the whole beautiful structure and all of everything that had been left behind in memories was burned.
