I can't believe that I had never really listened to the Pixies before last weekend. They blew me away. As did Arcade Fire. Everything sounds better at the gorge with the sun shining down. It was Kiley's first concert , though she was not really into the music...I'm breaking her in early 
We camped at a remote little place nearby and met some really cool people with an RV and 2 jetski's which they so generously shared all weekend. Super cool couple. They pretty much let us have them as often as we wanted the entire time. Rare kindness. It was a blast.
I feel like I have been crazy busy. My sister has been in the hospital for the last week, pregnant with twins and going into early labor. She has to stay there until she delivers and they're hoping it will be at least 3 more weeks. Without the meds they are giving her she would deliver them now which would be high risk as they are only a little over 2lbs now. So that's been on my mind....And my truck is in the shop with a discontinued part delay so I haven't been able to get around without Miguel. Today we rented a car, so that will help.
Spent some time over this last weekend with Heyoka and Cineman while they were here for a film festival their film was in. I watched a handful of other films in the festival and theirs was hands down the best. We got to hand out a couple times over the weekend. It is a cool experience to become friends with a person online and then meet them in person after. I never really thought the internet was a great place to make new friends and thought it was pretty silly when I heard of people meeting up this way. But in the last year I bet I have met 10 or 15 people this way. Funny. But anyway, I super enjoyed meeting Cineman who is engaging and witty and loved hanging out with Heyoka again.
I have no pictures to show you yet, but soon I will. Miguel has been working on a metal bed that is gorgeous and nearly finished. He is a talented man. Sexy too, and good to me
