New York was a great time. I fell in love with Day and Night who are breathtaking, sweet-shy and fun. Also had a blast with the crazygirl Jaidee who is one of the few SG's I had met before. Aspen and Alex put the show together and did an excellent job. Girlie rocked on the make-up and our hair stylist did too. It was all very exxxxcelent!
The last day in NY we went to the Ashes and Snow exhibit by Gregory Colbert, at Chelsea Piers. It was the highlight of my trip. If you ever get the chance to go, go.
Actually, the trip was full of highlights. I also got to shoot with tmronin, the NY SG photographer who was super cool, super creative and easy to get along with. I also spent some time with Amina the same day and liked her a lot...good things coming
Let's see....Miguel booked 1 sure show and one other probable show while in NY (he'll be showing the body of work we worked on last...photos in my candids ...) So thats cool, we get to go back to NY in the Summer sometime
Went to see Joseph Arthur in Brooklyn. I really love his music and he is so good to watch live. I was filming his show sorta low key and got caught, my camera confiscated for the remainder of the show and the tape taken to be destroyed. I went back out for the rest of the show which was great but sure would've loved to tape the rest of it! We (actually Miguel) talked to the tour Manager after the show and got it back so that was cool.
Feels good to be home. Spent a while at the laundromat, thats always a good time.

Hey, here's someone who remembers the old days! Chelsea Piers is now a mammoth sports and entertainment center. Sort of like a mall, with exhibit space, as well.
