My Go-Go agent just lost her entire contract with Element nightclub because the promoters were so unimpressed with myself and the other dancer that showed up this last weekend. We were booked for Saturday night which was "upscale chic meets northwest lounge". The other dancer Dawn and I had danced 20 minutes max when one of the promoters handed us drink tickets and told us we could take the rest of the night off, with pay. He said they wanted to keep the go-go stages free for the club girls and it was going to be a packed night. It sounded weird but we were assured by 2 different mngmt. personel that it had nothing to do with us and we were great. Whatever. We were relieved. The crowd was not really our scene and the music was SO bad. Like tope 40 hip hop
We had another club to dance at that night at 2am so were were happy to have the free time in between.

Anyway, the next day my agent informed me she had been fired. I still have not found out what they were actually unhappy with but I can guess it had to do with my absolute un-chicness.

Heh heh. They were hoping for Barbies and they got Burners!!!!!
