Hot sauce is elusive, I almost had to come home!! Were just hanging out low key today resting up, reading and walking around town. Really nice vibe around here. Booked our flight into Cusco for Monday morning, $100 a piece one way. Well spend 3 days there acclimating then hike to Machu Picchu. Taking a bus to Pisco tomorrow to check it out...shopped a little today but have to be careful not to make my pack too heavy...going to have to ditch books along the way but that is ok. Met people from new zealand, australia, austria, ireland and portland. The sweet little orange cat sleeping next to me in the grass awoke and began to sniff and drool all over me obsessively then tried to bite me when I attempted to move away. Finally jumped up a little freaked out by the rabid sweet kitty. Guess hes taken to humping girls legs around the hostel. Weird peruvian cats man. The food has been a little weird so far....ate a jar of pickles today though. peeeeekle!
