I had a fun day and night yesterday. I spent some time with andnowmiguel while he was welding at his studio and then came home and had a nice quiet afternoon by myself. I got through a little bit more of our computer room which is buried in boxes of papers, photos and cd's and books. Between the two of us there is a lot! Miguel and I both carry around a notebook/journal most of the time to draw in, write ideas, make lists, glue momentos in and such. Though we have our own, we also use each others which is fun and makes a lot of sense since we are always together. Anyway, I came across a few of our journals and had fun reading back through them and remembering times in our crazy life.
Late afternoon, Miguel got home, hot and sweaty from working in his shop. He took his shirt off and tossed it on the table and came back to find Tarquin rolling around like this, blissed out. :-)
After a bit we went to the thrift store to see if we could find anything cool for the playa. I found Miguel an awesome purple velvet jacket and myself a couple things...
After we got home we drank whiskey while I tried on my new clothes, played with different hair, called up friends to come drink with us and lounged on our chair of a bear.
After a little bit, Erika got home and she and I met up with Tanya to go and see her boyfriend Sol get his scarification tattoo. The only problem was that when we got to her house we all started trying on these really amazing vintage swimsuits that she just bought. By the time we got there they had already finished. Oh well, would have been cool to watch. Next time.

And now here we are back at home with nothing to do but chill out and hang out all day with good music, 6 cats, our sweetass pool and probably...more whiskey!
We have 29 of these guys-all different. They are so rad because they have really cool accessories like ...chainsaws, helicopters, atvs...believe me you'd play with them.
You can see why the inflatable part on top would be popped ...
