Seattle is so hot today, I wish I was river rafting. Burning Man is one month away, time to start digging in to my new travel trailer and checking it out. It has a fridge, bathroom and stove and can sleep 8. Just have to test all the appliances and power/water. This is going to be such a different way of experiencing the playa for us. I am kinda sad about not building a geodesic dome but I just keep reminding myself about all the extra time I will have to explore art and people this year. Anyway, if I miss the dome we can build it next year. We have a pretty good size group going with us and plan on going the hot spring route again on the way back to SummerLake and Bagby.
The pool is nearly full but we woke up and it had a hole on the upper ring from the cat climbing on it. Our Bengal loves water. Anyway, we fixed it this morning and we'll be swimming tonight.

It must feel liberating to just punt on building the dome, even if the building of it promises to be a ball, and its being there a cool thing. Sometimes it feels so beautiful to just cut loose from some self-imposed duty or obligation, though.
Good luck staying cool. Your cat probably didn't want to get in the pool anyway.
