A Scanner Darkly is a very dark movie. I'm not really into those. The style was cool though. I don't really like to entertain bad energy, even when it is just a dark movie or a scary book. I think everything around us is cumulatively affected by will and the intention of everyone as a whole. Project to the good and there is stronger energy there for everything. Let dark energy pass through you even if not owning it and you have become a willing host to a bad guest. No thanks.

true , the collective conscious is real and we all need to intend good things to happen..on that note..it was fun hanging with you and Miguel at Slayer..the pit was insanely fun..i haven't figured out if i can do burning man yet..i'll call and let you guys know..ciao'

I personally tend to lean towards movies that have make me think and/or philosophize, even if it's a cheesy blockbuster superhero-type movie that has one well thought line in the whole 2 hour thing. Dark/creepy/scary stuff has entertainment value, but I have to be in a mood where my brain is willing to shut down.
