Our kitten is back home and doing his best to adjust to his cone head. He looks like me in my last pictures!
Poor guy, he keeps walking around the house backwards trying to step out of the thing. I took it off for a couple of minutes yesterday to help him eat but he immediately began to lick his belly which was no good. Here he is in all his sutures and glory.

And here is his brother Salvador Dali.

So the neighbors refused to speak with us about the vet bill and actually called the cops on Miguel when he went over to discuss the whole thing with them. It is some middle aged woman and her teenage son over there. You would think they wouldn't act this way but I get suprised all the time living in the city. So anyway we had no choice but to call animal control who is going to cite them for leash laws and harming another animal. And then I am going to have to file a small claims against them to try to get my $666 back (that's really the total!). So lame. I am so not the suing type but that's a lot of money and she has been such a bitch that I am fine with doing it. Something about having a feud with the neighbors over the fence feels just like a cartoon!
So my garden is growing really well in some places but not at all in others. I'll just keep watching it and replant some things if I need to.

Next week is going to be a blast. On Wednesday I am going to Noc Noc to see Papawheelie and Bettina perform. I am looking foward to meeting Bettina and can't wait to see Mr. Pappawheelie who is one of the coolest guys around.
Then on the 14th of next week andnowmiguel and I with 4 of our good friends, are going to see SLAYER!!!!! Yes!! I can't wait. I have never seen this guys live but have such vivid memories of my brothers blaring their music so many years ago. They have been around a long time.
On the 16th, Miguel and I are heading to Canada to sail with his parents from Tofino and around those parts. We plan on hitting a hot spring while we are there which I am really looking foward to. The sailboat isn't very big which shoud be interesting with 5 people on it. Here are some pictures we took last week before his parents left on their summer journey. This is in the Shilshole Marina in Seattle. It was so cute, this little goose family came up to the boat.
