I had to take our little black kitten to the animal ER a few nights ago around midnight when the neighbors German Shepard came into my fenced yard and cornered and attacked him. I got out there in seconds but the little kitten was definately not in good shape. Not bleeding outwardly but hurting. He has a hernia on both sides of his belly and you can feel his guts poking out, about the size of a marble on both sides. We took him back in this morning for surgery to repair that. It's going on $700 dollars now. We started a conversation with the dog owner lady who asked what percentage we would like her to pay. Um. All of it! I already talked to an animal control officer who told me if I file a report she will be fined with 4 different citations and will be fined around $450 for her dog tresspassing, not being on a leash, for her dog attacking and hurting another animal and for damages. It will go on her record as a warning and if anybody ever filed another report on her dog again it would go on her record as a crime and she would have a lot more fines. So we haven't talked to her again yet but with this information I bet she will be much more agreeable to paying. I sure don't want to start a feud with my neighbor, so I hope she takes responsibility for this willingly because I just spent my rent money covering vet bills.
I have recently realized that Sponge Bob Squarepants is brillance and that I need a swimming pool. I hate Walmart but I researched Costco and a bunch of other places that carry pools and this one is the best value for it size. Check it out, it's huge enough for 3 people to float on a air mattress'
Goodbye slipnslide, hello pool!!! This thing is going to take up the entire right side of my front yard. My sister has one and we played in it last weekend. Speaking of my sister, here she is.
And here I am in the pool at her house, with our dad. He's a really cool guy.
I'm just hanging around the house today in case the vet clinic calls to have me pick up the baby. Everyday I go outside and inspect the dirt in my garden for signs of life. I was all excited when I noticed these tiny little growths then realized it was new weeds sprouting up everywhere. The seeds just started to poke out yesterday and the day before and are much brighter green. I'll have a whole lot of weeding to do when these things get big enough for me to get at.

I'm sure Miguel will mange to persuade your "nice" neighbour to cough up the cash one way or another. She sounds like a total bitch tho.
